So...I admit, I have been slacking. Things have been so busy at the Robbins' house and time has flown by!! I will try to remember all that has happened since the last post...it's been a while, but here we go!!
Zack had his training trip in Branson in March. He was gone for two weeks, which is always hard, but thankfully it went by really quickly. I was busy with the Anthony's the first week and then the second week I took a trip to San Antonio with my mom and sister for a little girls get-a-way. We had yummy food, got to lay out by the pool for the first time this spring and had a chance to meet some of Rachel Schwind's family at a wedding shower for the then soon to be newlyweds. Then, before I knew it my Zack was home!! The trip for him was an overall success. He stayed in a really cool hotel that was right in the middle of Branson's main "strip". He said there was a fountain right outside his room that had light/music shows every half hour or so...a miniature version of those in Vegas I'm guessing :) He really loves these training trips. He likes the people he is working with and the responsibility that he is given. Also, I have to brag on him for a second...he is doing extremely well at the Woodshed!! One of the employees in the kitchen had decided she wanted to move to the serving floor. She asked her boss who she should speak with about greeting customers...who did the best job basically, and her boss told her that my husband was the best :) Mind you, this is only after a month or so working there! So once again, if you are ever in the Fort Worth area, stop by the Woodshed for lunch and ask for Zack!!
This time was also a hard time for a lot of people. One of my dear, dear friends found out that her six year old daughter has cancer. It will be a long road for sweet Libby and her family, so please pray for their strength and healing. There will be a benefit concert for Libby in June. If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me. In the meantime...go Team Libby.
Moving into April, Zack and I celebrated our first Easter together and one of the loves of my life, Mr. Collin Duwe, came home!! Easter was a little hard because Zack had to work again. We ended up
going to Saturday night service with my grandparents, Josh and his
girlfriend Amy. As for my friend Collin, he had been performing on a Disney Cruise Line for the past nine months and was finally coming home. We got a group of us together and surprised him at the airport. A couple of days later, we met for Blue Mesa happy hour (THE best happy hour in Fort Worth) and went to see TCU's production of Seussical the Musical. It was such a wonderful night catching up with wonderful friends. The next weekend Zack had his annual rafting trip, so I headed down to Sugar Land. I was able to see one of Zane's baseball games and celebrate the bride at Rachel's bachelorette party. (For those of you who don't know, the Gardner/Schwind wedding was set for the first weekend in May.) Zack had a great time with old friends on his trip. He was able to stay an extra day in Chattanooga and got to catch up with some of his groomsmen from the wedding. Before we knew it, April was over!
The first big event that came with May was Cinco de Mayo!!!...aka the second Gardner wedding :) Zack and I took the weekend off to drive down to Round Top, Texas for the festivities. We were excited to get to see the whole family again and enjoy the wedding without having to stress about when the flowers were getting there and who was going to pack the getaway car, etc, etc. The venue was Marburger Farms and the perfect setting for the artist bride. She did a fantastic job and the wedding was beautiful. The ceremony was set down in front of a huge tree with ribbons hanging from the branches and wildflowers everywhere. It was a little warm, but witnessing the love and joy that surrounded that day made every bit of it worth it. We had fajitas for dinner and as usual, my family tore up the dance floor with my dad and uncles leading the pack. It's events like this that remind me what an amazing family I have and how blessed I am. We are crazy people and I love it :)
I think that has pretty much caught us up, hitting the main points. In other news, I am blessed everyday with the amazing husband God has saved for me :). I am blown away by his heart everyday. I recently started a new job and have been not only exhausted, but extremely stressed out. This new job calls for me to be on my feet all day, which has been causing me a lot of pain. Whether it is a long day at work, an emotional day or a night of celebrating, I come home to a hot bath, a bottle of wine, a hot meal, a movie and my wonderful husband grinning from ear to ear. How did I get so lucky?
This summer will hopefully bring lots of exciting things for me and Zack. I am pleased to announce that I will be teaching at the Dallas Theatre Centre!! If you live in the DFW area and have a 4-6 year old interested in theater, send them my way!! It will be a summer full of surprises and laughter and we can't wait!

Catching up with February!!
WOW!! February has absolutely flown by! I can't believe it is already March, with spring knocking on our door. We were totally cheated out of a winter, so for me, it's hard to really enjoy the warm weather :(. Anyway, there is SO much happening in the Robbins' household! The beginning of February was busy for Zack as Valentine's Day approached. Needless to say, Silver Fox is a very popular restaurant, especially during the week of Valentine's Day! Because of this, we had to postpone our plans until the following week. As is now tradition, we went to Texas de Brazil and absolutely pigged out!! For those of you who don't know, at Texas de Brazil you have a small token that is red on one side and green on the other. All kinds of meat is continuously being brought through the restaurant and you guessed it, green means GO!! We used to go to a similar restaurant in Houston when we were all little and all I remember is that my brothers would make it into a competition...of course. Unfortunately, it wasn't much of a competition between me and Zack :)
After that, it was on to celebrate Zack's 28th birthday. I think he was pretty happy with how it turned out :) We had dinner at the new Tim Love restaurant, the Woodshed, with our good friends Peyton and Brandon Cole. It was amazing! The food was unbelievable, the fellowship was great and the weather was perfect. It was nice and cool, so we sat outside next to one of their huge fire pits. The restaurant is right on the Trinity River and opens up right on the trails. Again, if you live in Fort Worth or ever visit, you HAVE to try it. Later on in the week, we had a bunch of our friends over for dinner and games. It was such a wonderful night and we both felt so blessed to have such great people in our lives. As far as Zack's gift goes...he was like a kid on Christmas! He finally got his fish tank :) We now have eight new members of the Robbins family! It was quite the journey though, we lost six fish before finally getting to where we are now. The first five were our dollar fish, and just couldn't handle the transfer...they died within four hours of bringing them home. That was rough... lol. Then we got two bigger fish...Steve and Earl. However, it wasn't long that we discovered Steve is quite the bully!! He teased and pushed Earl around until finally Earl became so depressed that he stopped eating and slowly drifted away :( So to get Steve back, we brought home seven new fish! That will surely show him he doesn't rule the fish tank!!! I didn't use a flash and couldn't really get a good shot of the fish, but here it is!! The big red one is Steve...
In other news, I have recently joined a talent agency here in Fort Worth and am looking forward to seeing what comes of that in the upcoming months. Zack has also recently attained a new job working at the Woodshed!! We just can't get enough :) He has been working his tail off, going through training, while still serving at Silver Fox in the evenings. I am so proud of his hard work :) He leaves for his training gig in Branson in just a couple of weeks and is excited for that. Look for exciting stories about his trip in next months blog!!
I think that's pretty much all for now. Thanks for reading and caring about our lives :) We love you!!

Starting the New Year off right!
This past month has been absolutely crazy!! Since my last entry, so much has happened! Zack made my birthday really special this year. He walked in from work at midnight with flowers and champagne to celebrate. Then he made dinner for me and a few of my closest friends. It was really relaxing and just what I needed. Zack and I also got to go to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo this year for my birthday, courtesy of my big brother Josh :) The evening was bulls night out and full of excitement!! If you live anywhere near Fort Worth, you have to go to the show!!
After my show closed, we spent a wonderful Christmas holiday in Tennessee with Zack's family and friends. We made sweet memories for our first Christmas as husband and wife, but as soon as we got home it was back to work!! Zack literally worked all the way up until the New Year, getting home just in time to kiss his wife :) He is really excited because he has another training job coming up in March. First it was Tyler, then he ventured overseas to Saudi Arabia and now he is traveling all the way to Branson! Tune in at the end of March to hear how it goes...I'm hoping for some good stories!! I've been really busy with both work and auditions. 'Tis the season! Hopefully it will be a busy next few months!
In other news we finally feel like our home is our home :) We had so much fun putting our own touch on the place and one of our favorite things now is to have company over! Zack has also been playing the guitar like crazy!! He is so talented and I love listening to him :) That's pretty much all that's been happening lately in the Robbins' home. We are looking forward to the next few months and can't wait to share more with you!!
